Inebriating Journay into Wine

8 Days

An opportunity to leave the metropolis and immerse yourself in the natural and artistic beauty of the small medieval villages outside Rome. Along the "Road of the Lakes" passing through one of the hilly areas of volcanic origin which characterize the outskirts of Roma: Colli Albani, Castelgandolfo, Ariccia, Rocca di Papa e Grottaferrata, noted for their culture and gastronomic delicacies. Towards the northerly part of the Colli Albani, we arrive at Frascati, popular both for its beauty and considerable production of wine. The trip continues towards the discovery of the most enchanting region of Italy: Tuscany, where the past and present merge in pleasant harmony. Hill-towns gaze across the countryside from on high, many circled by Etruscan walls and slender cypress trees, olive groves or vineyards.
