Verona, Padua, Mantua, Venice, Colli Euganei

DAY 1

Arrival in Verona. Meeting with the tour escort (EXTRA) and transfer to the monastery-hotel. Check-in and free time. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2

Breakfast. Full day dedicated to visit Verona, splendid city known worldwide. Stopping at Giusti Garden, one of the most important Italian gardens dating from the 16th century and visited since its origin, featuring parterres, labyrinth, wood and numerous hand-made artefacts of great value. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3

Breakfast. Full day in Padua. Visit to the Botanical Garden: dating back to 1545 it is considered the oldest botanical garden ever created. Besides the relevance from the botanical point of view, there are drammatic centuries-old trees of big stage effects. Afterwards guided city tour: the historical centre with the three squares, Palazzo della Ragione and Giotto's frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel (considered his best work). Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4

Breakfast. Morning dedicated to the guided tour of Mantua, motherland of the poet Virgilio and the historic estate of the Gonzaga Family. In the afternoon, a stop at the Park Sigurta' Garden, which covers 50 hectares in a rare, natural and beautiful environment. It has its origins in an old agricultural farm joined to the eighteenth-century Villa Sigurta', of elegant neo-classical design. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5

Breakfast. Full day excursion to Venice. Entering Venice is like leaving behind reality for a world of fantasy. You lose awareness of space and time. It's very easy to become captivated by the magical atmosphere that glitters on its canals and its bridges. Half day guided visit of the city. Free time to enjoy a romantic Gondola ride along the Grand Canal. Return to Verona. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6

Breakfast. In the morning, visit to Villa Pisani in Stra': a Baroque style royal palace, built in the XVII century, with a splendid French garden with a maze and huge statues. Return to Verona and free time. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7

Breakfast. Full day excursion to Colli Euganei which are characterized by their soft roundness due to their volcanic origins,and is a well known wine producing area. There will be a stop at Villa Barbarigo Pizzoni Ardemani to admire one of the most valuable and well preserved Italian gardens from the 16th century; the 15 hectares are strewn with statues, fountains, sprins and fish-ponds. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 8

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight home. End of our services. Arrivederci!
