Wine from the Town of Disfida
Arrival at Barletta and visit to the Cathedral, the Hohestaufen Castle and the Cantina della Disfida. Tasting of the DOC wine “Barletta” and lunch at Osteria di Veleno. In the afternoon, visit to the archaeological area of Canne della Battaglia. Dinner and overnight stay at the farmhouse hotel Tenuta Leone, near Canosa.

Troccoli, Lampascioni and Canosa Red
After breakfast, visit to the collection of Canosa ceramics (4th-3rd century B.C.) at Palazzo Sinesi and the 4th-century B.C. hypogeum. After a stop at the Rossi wine co-operative, which produces the DOC Rosso Canosa, lunch at the restaurant Principe Boemondo to taste troccoli with turnip tops and lampascioni. Dinner and overnight stay at the farmhouse hotel Masseria Barbera at Minervino Murge.

Mushrooms and Sausages from Murge
Breakfast and visit to the Grotto of San Michele, a karst cave 70 metres deep. Lunch at the restaurant La Tradizione with a menu of carboncelli mushrooms and sausages a punta di coltello. In the afternoon, excursion in the forest of Acquatetta and visit to the wine co-operative of Minervino. Dinner at the pizzeria Da Gino. Overnight stay.

The Norcineria at Trani
After breakfast, visit to the Roman bridge over the river Ofanto and then on to Trani, to visit the historic centre and taste the sausages and salamis at the norcineria (pork butcher). After lunch, transfer to the Hotel Règia, dinner and
evening free. Overnight stay.

Macaroni and Quagghjariedde at Castel del Monte

After breakfast, transfer to the farmhouse Tenuta Tannoja at Castel del Monte and lunch of homemade dishes: quagghjariedde (sheep offal stuffed with cheese and eggs, baked in the oven and served with chicory or boiled rocket leaves) and macaroni. In the afternoon, visit to Castel del Monte, octagonal fort built by order of Frederick II of Hohestaufen. Dinner and overnight stay at the farmhouse.

Wine and Orecchiette in the Land of Bari
After breakfast, visit to the Rivera vineyards, where the Rosso Riserva Il Falcone and the Moscato di Trani are produced.
Transfer to Polignano a Mare and lunch at the restaurant Da Tuccino, to taste orecchiette pasta and squid soup. In the afternoon, visit to the historic centre. Dinner and overnight stay at the farmhouse Don Sante.

Polignano a Mare
After breakfast, visit to the archaeological site of Egnazia. Return to Polignano a Mare and lunch at the restaurant Antiche Mura. Departure as planned.
