At Home in Genoa the Superb
Arrival at the city’s port and transfer to the hotel. Introduction to the ‘noble and wealthy’ Genoa of the 17th century with a visit to the homes of its ancient and illustrious families: the Ducal Palace, Palazzo Tursi, Palazzo Bianco and Palazzo Rosso, the National Gallery of Palazzo Spinola and of Palazzo degli Specchi, all of which now house art galleries and museums. Dinner and overnight stay.

From Ancient to Modern
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for the Aquarium to spend the morning among sharks and dolphins and tropical
environments. Lunchtime free. In the afternoon visit to the upper ridge of the city to see the Mura Nuove (New Walls), built in the 17th century and one of the greatest architectural wonders of all times, second only to China’s Great Wall. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Villas from Eastern to Western Riviera
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a day visiting the Villas and their splendid gardens that form a crown of green around the city, from the districts of the Eastern Riviera to the Western Riviera. Visit to Villa Durazzo Pallavicini, which houses the Botanical Gardens and Archaeological Museum of Liguria, Villa Doria Pamphili, which houses the Naval Museum, and Villa Brignole Sale Duchessa di Galliera, with its magnificent Italian-style gardens. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

A Railroad Adventure
Breakfast at the hotel followed by an excursion in Train to the inland area behind Genoa. The railway line dips and turns
sharply around cliffs, over high mountain bridges and through cuttings, always overlooking the sea. Return to the hotel in
the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
