What better way to live the places holding the myth of Aeolus, god of the winds, than with a sailboat? Wafted on by the favour of the Greek god, we will navigate with comfortable modern boats on the warm, crystalline waters of the Aeolian islands, arriving as far as Ustica.
Day 1
Cefalù by Night
Arrival at the airport of Palermo. Transfer to the city of Palermo. Boarding at south pier. Departure at 4.00 pm. At 9.00
pm, arrival at the port of Cefalù, with its picturesque crown of houses clinging to precipices over the sea, dinner on board, tour of the historical centre and the Norman cathedral.

From the Sea to Mud
At 7.00 am, departure from Cefalù. At noon, arrival at Capo D’Orlando, with the first stop devoted to bathing and diving;
short snack. At 2.00 pm, departure for Vulcano. Arrival at 5.00 pm, afternoon devoted to wellness with thermal baths. Dinner at restaurant on the unique “Spiagge Nere di Ponente” (Black Sands of the West).

Archaeological Treasures
At 9.00 am, departure from Vulcano. Visit to the Grotta del Cavallo, the inevitable swim, diving. At 11.00 am, navigation towards the island of Lipari. Arrival at noon. Visit to the important archaeology museum that offers an extraordinary underwater archaeology section. Snack, excursion on the island. Bathing at the White Beaches created by the pumice erupted by the island’s ancient volcano. Return at 8.00 pm to the harbour of Lipari, Marina Grande. Dinner on the boat.

The Cliffs of Panarea 
At 9.00 am, departure for Panarea. At 10.30 am, arrival at the bay of Calajunca, stop, bathing, diving, visit to the prehistoric village, snack. At 3.00 pm, navigation to visit the craggy zone opposite Panarea: Dattilo, Lisca Bianca, Lisca Nera, and the marvellous coasts of Basiluzzo. At 8.00 pm, return to roadstead of Milazzo, dinner on the boat.

Stromboli, Sea and Fire
At 9.00 am, departure for Stromboli. At 11.00 am, arrival and tour of Strombolicchio and the northern coast of the island. Stop in a roadstead and snack, short excursion on land. At 8.00 pm, navigation to the west side of the island, towards the Sciara del Fuoco to better admire in the night’s darkness the spectacle of the crater and its eruptions. Dinner on the boat.
At 9.30 pm, departure for Salina, arrival at 1.30 am.

From Salina to Ustica by Sailboat
At 9.00 am, navigation around the beautiful coast of Salina, visit to Malfa, stop at the shallows of the sunken volcano of Pollara (where Massimo Troisi’s film “The Postman” was filmed), snack at Rinella. At 3.00 pm, departure for Filicudi, arriving at 5.00 pm. Tour of the prehistoric village, dinner on the boat. Nocturnal navigation towards Ustica,
crossing by the solitary Alicudi at 11.00 pm. Arrival in Ustica at 9.00 am, on Friday morning.

Return to Palermo
At 10.00 am, tour of the island, lunch at a restaurant. At 3.00 pm, return to Palermo. At 9.00 pm, arrival at the southern pier of the harbour of Palermo, overnight stay on board. Landing at 9.00 am on Saturday morning.
